Today, October 28, 2009 marks the red-letter-day for broadcast journalist Korina Sanchez and Mr. Palengke (Market)Senator Manuel “Mar" Roxas II.The wedding was presided by Archbishop Angel Lagdameo at Sto. Domingo Church in Quezon City afternoon

Since they are both considered as public figures/celebrities, prominent people were also there during this much-awaited wedding of the year, where Korina wore a serpentina-style gown in a Filipiniana motif without a veil, as contrast to the tradition.
